while starting the database if we get the following errors
ORA-27154 : past/wait create failed.
ORA-27300 : OS System dependent operation segment failed.
ORA-27301 : OS failure msg : no space left on device
ORA -27302 : failure occurred at :sskgpsemsper
sql>exit
go to root user----> vi /etc/sysctl.conf
As per the oracle the semaphore value should be set to
kernel.sem=250 32000 100 200
